Analysing the antenna radiation in the presence of the bodies of complicated shape, the method of integral equation of the macroscopic electromagnetics holds much promise [1]. The method has been developed in [2-4] for a circular waveguide loaded with an impedance linear antenna. The resonance excitation of the coupled and uncoupled impedance linear antenna in the presence of a perfectly conducting circular infinite cylinder is considered in this article. The asymptotic expressions for the current describe its real distribution by taking into account the interaction between the symmetric and antisymmetric current components, and can be used for calculating the characteristic and input resistances of the impedance antenna and its resonance frequency.References
