The report deals with an electrodynamically grounded method of the determination of an optimum directional diagram of the primary feed; the method is applied to any antenna with a sharply discernible primary feed. To solve the problem on finding an optimum DD of the primary feed in the strict statement a preliminary solution is needed of the diffraction problem on the antenna system of a plane wave coming from that direction in which AG is maximized.References
