Abstract

In the given report the results of development of the simple collimator with an extended target zone on a basis of the dielectric lens with a rotational symmetry are presented. The increase of EM field uniformity in lens aperture is achieved because of a choice of the lens material with losses, and the decrease of total gain of the collimator is compensated by increasing of radiator gain. The experimental features of the collimator in the target zone also are shown.
