Abstract

Methods of antennas parameters determination in a near-field zone are widely used at present. These methods are based on measure antennas near-field of on some chosen surface near the antenna and subsequent numerical processing of the measurement results for far field reconstruction.

Holographic methods, based on amplitude and phase measurements of the antenna near-field or quadrature components, are of the most widespread.

One of the holographic methods limitations is the necessity to carry out phase measurements, in some cases this presents rather a difficult problem, especially at centimetric and millimetric-wave band. Therefore the methods based on measuring the near-field amplitude data only are of particular interest.
