The problem of determination of a surface impedance is interesting both from theoretical and practical points of view. The various authors have solved a number of scattering problems (both direct and inverse) for impedance bodies, however not enough attention was payed to matters of direct realization of an impedance. At the moment in scientific-technical and patent literature a number of interesting designs is resulted which could be applied with success as an impedance load. However strict electrodynamic calculations of an input impedance is not done.
The structures with reactive character of a surface impedance are for creation of aerials of surface waves, and also for an isolation of aerials, located on a common surface. With the help of a continuously distributed impedance or discretic impedance load it is possible to receive the given scattering diagram of a conducting object.
In the majority of practical cases as a continuously distributed impedance structure either dielectric with losses, or corrugated structure is applied. However, disadvantage of corrugated structures is a expressed dependence of an impedance value on angle of incidence of electromagnetic wave at increase if width of a flute. Therefore research of designs, deprived of this disadvantage is of interest.
Mathematical model of slotted impedance load and calculation program are developed, allowing to calculate dependence of an impedance on slot width, width of band and angle of incidence of electromagnetic wave.
