Numerical and experimental investigations of the septum waveguide diffraction problem are presented. Electrodynamics model based on infinitesimally thin septum approximation allows to minimize a computation time with appropriate practical accuracy. Application of the proposed model for the design of the septum polarization converters and E-plane filters is noted. Numerical and measured data are presented.References
