Abstract

A novel extremely compact in-line configuration microwave low noise amplifier (LNA) for amplification of arbitrary polarized signal is presented. Processes of signal and noise transformations in the LNA are considered. Results of design and measurements of the C-band polarization-invariant LNA are given.
