Abstract

Traditional technology processes of drying woods is accomplished by means of convection or radiation heating and characterized by a long time of working cycle, large energy expenditure, thermomechanical damage of woods especially their hard and valuable sort of bread, soiled ecology by product of fuel burn [1]. Long duration of technology processes and low level of quality of receiving materials are explained by a peculiarity of technology processes of convection or radiation heating which consist of the formation of dried and even up dried layer, where closed transport capillaries do not permit air to move to the surface from inside.

The authors have designed the principal technical solution which ensures realization of microwave drying technology.
