Abstract

The results of the development of a prototype of a new generation low frequency telescope are discussed. The efficiencies of the new wideband active antenna array and of part of the UTR-2 radio telescope are compared. The radio astronomy observations which have been carried out show the high efficiency of the new active antenna array.
