Abstract

The variation of the radiotechnical characteristics of aerial covers through their production life, connected with water absorption, is analyzed on the basis of the general theory of wave propagation in laminar media. The simulation of a porous media with conducting inclusions is used to determine the outer layer's effective inductivity. The elaborated method is illustrated with analysis of some constructions destined to work in the millimetre wave band.
