Abstract

The technical characteristics of a meter wavelength wind profiler are presented. It is noted that its qualitative indices are basically defined by the performance of its antennas. The construction of the wind profiler antenna and changeable polarization antenna are described. These antennas were used for polarization measurements of signals reflected by atmospheric inhomogeneities. The results of polarization measurement are presented. The received signals exhibit depolarization.
