We consider the problem of effects of transmitting and receiving antennas’ characteristics in the structural physical model of the HF radio channel. The radio channel consists of transmitting-receiving antenna-feeder paths and the Earth-ionosphere waveguide. Characteristics of the radio channel are calculated using the normal wave method. The solution is obtained within the framework of waveguide representation of the HF electromagnetic field in the spherical waveguide Earth-ionosphere. Wire antennas with arbitrary configuration are also considered.References
