The physical peculiarities of the wave processes in the whole space in a near-field zone of Hertz dipole placed over ideally conducting plane screen are analyzed. The amplitudes, phases and phase velocities of electric and magnetic fields (EMF) components in the direction of a normal to the screen versus the distance from a dipole to observation point R′ are calculated. It is shown, that the velocity of decreasing the EMF amplitudes are smaller than in case of a dipole in a free space. Modulus of the transverse EMF components ratio equals the wave impedance in a free space beginning with R′ ≈ λ. The ratio argument equals zero and the phase velocities of EMF components coincide with the ones in case of a dipole in a free space beginning with R′ = 0.52λ. The boundary of far-field zone depends also from the observation angles.References
